The EGR valve is simple to remove.

These are brief instructions, full illustrated instructions are supplied with the EGR blank.

1. Remove 3 bolts
2. Pull EGR out of the manifold
3. Separate solenoid part from mechanical part.
4. Pop EGR blank in to manifold
5. Bolt solenoid part back on.

That’s basically it, all electrical connections remain in place, hence no mapping required.
