1.9 Diesel engine EGR blank – delete the EGR valve
This blank let’s your engine breath easier, perform better and eliminate the engine hesitance caused by a clogged EGR valve, simply by fitting this EGR to your 1.9 diesel engine.
If the EGR valve has jammed/failed there is no need to clean it or buy a new one, or if you just want reliability and peace of mind to avoid future expense simply delete it with this EGR blank.
Unlike the 180° orientation mod (which still causes an obstruction) or a plain blanking plate (which can cause an EML), this EGR blank is a unique design that offers much more to also reduce carbon build up and premature oil contamination in your engine. It deletes the EGR valve and eliminates the obstruction it causes in the induction manifold.
Therefore the cooler air from the intercooler flows freely through the induction manifold which helps to improve response, performance and fuel consumption of your 1.9 diesel engine.
As this deletes just the mechanical part that clogs, the electronic half of the EGR valve (that fits outside the manifold) is refitted and plugged in for normal operation, most importantly no engine management lights.
No remapping required, fit and forget.
